In comparison to the ICE Harrier, the scores are better too since the ICE Harrier which scored 5 stars has 30.8/32 while adult occupant protection is 44.54 points out of 49.

Harrier EV has aced the Bharat NCAP crash tests with a perfect 5 star rating which includes a full score in the adult occupant protection rating in terms of scoring 32/32 while in child occupant protection, it has scored 45 out of a total 49. In comparison to the ICE Harrier, the scores are better too since the ICE Harrier which scored 5 stars has 30.8/32 while adult occupant protection is 44.54 points out of 49.

This means that the EV version does better marginally over the ICE but again both are 5 stars. BNCAP tested the Empowered 75 and Empowered 75 AWD variants of the Harrier EV and the standard equipment of course includes 6 airbags while 7 are seen on the Fearless and Empowered. The scores are also similar to the XEV 9e from Mahindra which has also scored full marks in the adult occupant protection tests. The Harrier EV comes with two battery packs- 65 and 75 kwh while there is also the dual motor AWD version which has twin motors. Yesterday, Tata revealed the prices of the single motor version while the dual motor version prices would be out soon.

This is the eighth Tata car to get the full 5 stars rating while this was expected from the newest EV, the Harrier EV getting full marks in adult occupant protection makes it a safe car for sure.
