Tata.ev has revealed the prices for its Harrier EV and these are the RWD single motor versions while we have to wait for the top-end AWD Dual motor version prices. For now, the Harrier EV single motor develops 235bhp while the range is 627km while pricing for the top-end Empowered 75 single motor is 27.49 lakh along with 24.99 lakh for the Fearless+ 75. The Harrier EV prices start at Rs 21.4 lakh as declared earlier at the launch. In comparison the XEV 9e prices start at 21.9 lakh and go till Rs 31.2 lakh.

The XEV 9e comes with a single motor only with 286hp while the range on offer is 655km for the top-end battery pack version. The BE 6 from Mahindra meanwhile is priced from Rs 18.9 lakh and goes till Rs 26.90 lakh. The BE6 comes with a single motor also with 281bhp and 682km range. The Harrier EV undercuts the ZEV 9e in terms of price while being slightly pricey over the smaller BE 6.

The dual motor Harrier EV meanwhile is much more powerful and would be more expensive too over the single motor version while prices for that are not out yet. It will be interesting how the premium EV market shapes up with the entry of the Harrier EV particularly with the dual motor version and how the segment of Indian SUVs giving more bang for buck vs the more expensive EVs out there.
