Citroen C3 Aircross 7-Seater SUV Revealed
The C3 Aircross is positioned below the C5 Aircross and has a three-row seating configuration. The image confirms the design, which is a cross between the C3 and C5 Aircross.
Citroen has revealed the C3 Aircross with a first look at its styling. It is a crucial launch for Citroen in India and has been developed for our market based on the C3 platform along with high localisation.
The C3 Aircross slots below the C5 Aircross and has a 3-row seating layout. The image confirms the design which is a mix of the C3 and the C5 Aircross.
Some C3 styling elements are there but it gets more premium detailing with more chrome. Size wise it could be above 4m and will be a 7-seater compact SUV of sorts. There is a skid plate too and other SUV design touches as well.
The C3 Aircross comes with C3 inspired cabin with a larger 10-inch touchscreen while the air vent designs are similar to the C3 hatchback. There would be a different instrument cluster though from the C3 hatchback.
Other features include roof-mounted vents for second and third-row passengers and expected features like climate control. The C3 Aircross is expected to get a turbo petrol engine while like the C3, there is no diesel option. There could be manual and automatic versions on the card as well while currently, the C3 gets a manual gearbox only.

The compact SUV footprint within a 7-seater form will make it stand out for its practicality plus space. More details regarding the C3 Aircross would be revealed tomorrow while the launch is scheduled for the festive season.
The C3 Aircross has been developed for our market and will be the most crucial Citroen model for India with strong sales numbers being expected from it.
The SUV could rival other 4m plus models like the Toyota Hyryder and the Kia Seltos amongst other SUVs within this very competitive space.
