In a few hours we will know the official and of the Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle and it would be a crucial product while also being possibly the most efficient in India.

 

The new bike would most likely be called Freedom 125 and that is a name which coincides with its ethos of freeing the motorcycle buyer from the cost of a petrol motorcycle.

 

The name also showcases the fact that this motorcycle is a 125cc one but with CNG mode, the performance would be more like a 100cc but with vastly more efficiency.

 

 

The bike will have a toggle switch between CNG mode and regular petrol mode. Of course as we had reported earlier the bike will have a round headlight.

 

 

The design would be simple but focus would be on practicality. The big talking point would be the 100km/kg estimated fuel efficiency.

 

It would also be expected to have multiple variants with a top end one which would be slightly pricier. The other big talking point is the pricing and we can expect it to be priced below Rs 1 lakh.

 

 

It could be priced at a slight premium over the other 125cc motorcycles but the CNG powertrain would be expected to be more value in terms of running costs.

 

 

The motorcycle would be competitively priced as well given the track record for Bajaj in terms of pricing their motorcycles. It will have a standard petrol tank along with a CNG cylinder.
