TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu Meets Prez Ramnath Kovind, Urges To Impose President's Rule In AP

Naidu met President Ramnath Kovind and said that the situation in Andhra Pradesh is grim and has urged the President to impose President's rule, exerting Article 356

Hyderabad: Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu alleged that The state's ecosystem is being damaged by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In the context of attacks on TDP party houses, Naidu urged to impose President's rule in the state. 

Speaking to the media, Naidu said that the ruling YS Jagan's government has tortured the TDP leaders and is being undemocratic towards the opposition leaders. Naidu met President Ramnath Kovind on Monday and said that the situation in Andhra Pradesh is grim and has urged the President to impose President's rule. 

Naidu also said that he explained to the president that Telugu Desam Party leaders are being tortured mentally, physically, and politically by YSRCP leaders.

He had said that the YSRCP government is responsible for attacks on the party offices of the TDP. It is a complete failure of law and order in the state, and the police department is functioning as a party cadre. He demanded a CBI inquiry into the unprecedented vandalising of TDP's main office.

Naidu said that Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is corrupting the police system in Andhra Pradesh and state-sponsored terrorism is taking place in the state. The DGP is acting according to Jagan Mohan Reddy's whims and arrested TDP leaders unilaterally, he added.

Naidu alleged that cannabis was being cultivated in 25,000 acres in the Manyam area of ​​Visakhapatnam district in AP. Wherever cannabis and drugs are being seized in the country, it is alleged that the source of it is from Andhra Pradesh. 

Chandrababu said that after hearing all the issues, the President responded positively to their appeal and assured them that he would take action considering all matters in his terms.
