Bihar Political Crisis: Nitish Likely To Take Oath As CM Tomorrow As BJP Convenes Key Meet — Top Points

Nitish Kumar is likely to take oath as a Chief Minister of Bihar on Sunday evening at Raj Bhavan in Patna, according to the sources.

Amid a crisis in Bihar politics sparked by speculation that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would cut ties with the Opposition just months before the general elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has called a meeting of its MPs and MLAs in Patna on Saturday (January 27) to discuss the current political situation as well as the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Congress, on the other hand, has planned a meeting of party MLAs in Purnea at 2 p.m. today; however, the party claims that it has nothing to do with the current situation.
