Delhi: Bomb Threat Emails Sent To 8 Hospitals, IGI Airport, 'Nothing Suspicious Found'
Three other hospitals in the capital -- including Dada Dev Hospital in Dabri area, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital and GTB Hospital -- have also received similar threats.
Several hospitals in the national capital received a bomb threat on Sunday evening, Delhi Fire Service officials said. The Indira Gandhi International Airport also received a similar theat email.
According to a report in PTI, eight hospitals in Delhi received the bomb threat, 11 days after similar messages to over 200 schools in Delhi-NCR sparked a scare.
The capital's Burari Government Hospital and Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri received the email at 3 pm after which the police and Bomb Disposal Teams were rushed to the spot. However, as per police officials, nothing suspicious have been found yet.
In a statement, an official at the Burari Hospital said, "At around 3 pm, we received an email regarding a bomb in the hospital. After this, all the safety measures had been thoroughly checked and everything was stable. This was the first time we received such an email."
Delhi's IGI Airport also received a similar warning after which the police and bomb disposal squads have been deployed at Terminal 3 of the airport.

The DCP of Shahdara said a bomb hoax mail was received at GTB Hospital and nothing suspicious has been found.
"A bomb hoax mail was received at GTB Hospital, GTB Enclave. Hospital authorities informed the local police about that mail. Immediately police swung into action and called the Bomb Disposal Squad at the Hospital and got the checking done of GTB Hospital and Delhi State Cancer Institute( situated within the premises of GTB Hospital). Nothing suspicious was found," DCP Shahdara said.
Meanwhile, the security has been tightened outside the airport and the hospitals in view of the warning emails.
Speaking on the bomb threat to Delhi hospitals, Delhi Deputy Mayor Aaley Muhammad Iqbal said, "I feel the Union Home Ministry and the L-G should look into this matter, and take appropriate action. Last week, a bomb threat was issued for Delhi schools, which created a panic in the nation capital. I feel strict action should be taken in this matter."

This email threats on Sunday come days after, several schools in New Delhi and Ahmedabad received similar bomb threats which later turned out to be hoax.
Over 200 schools in Delhi-NCR received a hoax bomb threat via e-mail on May 1 which led to widespread panic among parents and students, prompting authorities to suspend classes and ask parents to pick their wards from the schools.
Police said that the emails threatening blasts sent to at least 36 Ahmedabad-based schools on the eve of the May 7 voting was traced to Pakistan and was done in an attempt to spread fear ahead of polling.
