INLD’s Dr. Hari Chand Middha won Jind assembly seat in 2014 Haryana Assembly Elections by a margin of 2257 votes. Runner-up Surinder Singh Barwala of BJP bagged 29374 votes. Third position was held by INC's Pramod Sehwag. Fourth came Sudhir Gautam while Ramesh Kumar Saini of HJCBL got the fifth spot.
