INLD’s Prof. Ravinder Baliala won Ratia assembly seat in 2014 Haryana Assembly Elections by a margin of 453 votes. Runner-up Sunita Duggal of BJP bagged 50452 votes. Third position was held by INC's Jarnail Singh. Fourth came Ram Saroop Rama while Angrej Singh of HaLP got the fifth spot.
