One Direction fans go gaga over Brit royal baby's name
Washington DC [United States] Apr 28 (ANI): The fans of One Direction, an English-Irish pop boy band based in London, went gaga over the royal baby's name, who has been named Louis Arthur Charles became the namesake of someone from One Direction.
On Friday, Prince William and Kate Middleton have revealed the name of their baby boy.
The official handle of Kensington Palace broke the news on Twitter and wrote, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles. The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge."
Since then the Twitterati have gone all gaga and could not help linking-up the two 'Louis'.
"They named their baby after a 1D member wowwee Louis Tomlinson a true inspiration to everyone," tweted one of the users.
"@Louis_Tomlinson The Royals named their son after you!!!," tweeted another user.
Another user wrote, "She named him in honor of Louis Tomlinson."
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed their third baby son into the world on April 23, 11:01 BST.
English singer-songwriter Louis Tomlinson himself took to Twitter to welcome his royal namesake, saying, "Young Louis welcome to the world. I'll take you under my wing lad. The Adidas tracksuit is in the post!"
"Named after Louis from One Direction, I assume?" a user questions.
One of the users questions if the British Royal couple is a fan of One Direction, "Prince Louis, good choice! One Direction fans?"
The couple already has two children - a son, Prince George, aged 6, and a daughter, Princess Charlotte, aged 2.
The new prince is the Queen's sixth great-grandchild.
Kate gave birth to the royal baby in the Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital in London with her husband Prince William by her side.(ANI)
