KKR Expected To Retain Key Star Players Ahead Of IPL 2025 Mega Auction | Sports Live
The BCCI has officially confirmed the retention policy for IPL 2025, putting an end to the speculations. Teams can retain up to six players, including five capped and one uncapped, or four capped and two uncapped. There's no limit on the number of foreign or Indian players retained. KKR, the defending champions, will likely focus on retaining key players like Shreyas Iyer, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, and Rinku Singh. The tricky decision will be whether to release Iyer to use the Right-to-Match (RTM) option or retain him for a higher cost. Harshit Rana, who may soon become a capped player, is also a strong contender for retention.
