PCB Shocks Cricket World: AI To Take Over Pakistan Team Selection From Human Selectors | Sports Live
The Pakistan cricket team's troubles continue unabated. Recently, they suffered a 10-wicket loss in the first match of a two-Test series against Bangladesh, showcasing a disappointing performance. In response, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) to manage player selection. AI will now monitor players' performances, distinguishing between those who perform well and those who do not. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi revealed this new approach, explaining that for a recent domestic tournament, 150 players were selected, with 80% chosen using AI and the remaining 20% selected by human selectors. This innovative strategy aims to enhance player evaluation and team performance.
