Rampal Case: Police, paramilitary forces deployed in Hisar

Self-styled godman Rampal of Haryana, whose private army and aides had fought a pitched battle with police in November 2014 to prevent his arrest.

At least six people, including five women and an infant, died during the days'-long standoff with the police as Rampal continued to elude the police.

Court will announce the verdict in that case on Thursady and security has been tightened in Hisar. Also Section 144 has been imposed
