Pro Kabbadi League 2019: Clinical Pink Panthers See Off Gujarat Fortunegiants

A clinical Jaipur Pink Panthers saw out Gujarat Fortunegiants in a low-scoring encounter in the final match of the Ahmedabad leg of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 7 here on Friday. The season one champions showcased their versatility as they produced a composed defensive performance to win the match by a narrow margin of 22-19 under the watchful eyes of their owner Abhishek Bachchan.

 

Even though the fixture had a history of being a one-sided rivalry dominated by Gujarat Fortunegiants (they had a 5-1 win ratio against the opponents going into the match) the Fortunegiants' form had hit rock bottom with no wins in their home leg.
