World's most expensive divorce; here are the details

The King of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, has divorced his wife Princess Haya. In return, he will have to pay around 5500 crore rupees (554 million pounds).

Britain's High Court has ordered King Sheikh Mohammed to pay approximately Rs 5500 crore to Princess Haya for divorce. The court said that King will have to pay this amount for divorce settlement and secure future of the children. The settlement is one of the largest settlements in British legal history. Princess Haya is the daughter of former Jordanian King Hussein.
