Explained: Why wasn't Abdul Ghani Baradar elevated to President post?

Taliban has finally announced Mullah Hasan Akhund as the new leader of the government in Afghanistan. Taliban spokesperson made the announcement on Tuesday. Taliban co-founder Abdul Ghani Baradar will be one of the two deputies to Akhund in the new Taliban regime. 

It is noteworthy that the person who was considered to be one of the forerunners for president has only turned into a deputy. What was the reason behind it? Watch the video to know!
