Varanasi floods: Areas along the banks of river Varuna submerged in water | Ground Report

More than 20 districts are affected due to floods in UP. One of these districts is Varanasi, where the population of thousands has been affected by the rise in the Ganges. In Varanasi, due to the rise in the Ganges, the water in the Varuna river has also come to the nearby houses. While the ghats of Kashi are full of water, the mohallas situated on the banks of river Varuna are filled with 10 to 12 feet of water.
