Ukrainian plane shot down by Iranian missile, claims American media

A video has surfaced in the American media which claims that an Iranian missile shot down the Ukrainian airliner on Wednesday after Iran mistook it for a US aircraft. Earlier that day, Iran had launched strikes at American targets at Baghdad airport in retaliation to the killing of General Soleimani.

Canada has also based its claims on intelligence inputs from multiple sources and has claimed that Ukrainian airliner was shot down by Iranian surface-to-air missile.
