India launched the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign with fervour and zeal. The campaign is being launched in advance of the nation's 75th Independence Day on August 15th.

It comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an emotive appeal on July 22. The campaign's goal is to connect with the populace and instil a sense of nationalism and patriotism.

PM Modi invited everyone to hoist the national flag from their houses in a series of tweets last month. The Modi government is commemorating the 75th anniversary of India's independence as 'Amrit Mahotsav.' The movement also includes the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
