People continue to migrate as work comes to a standstill
Scores of migrant workers were spotted at Delhi-Ghaziabad border who were other way home, walking. Many of them are apprehensive of the situation after the sudden announcement of the lockdown while others are sent on leave by their contractors. With the work in the national capital coming to a standstill following the lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic, scores of daily wage workers were seen heading to their hometowns in the nearby districts in Uttar Pradesh on foot on Thursday night.
