No permission to spread rumours via social media, action will be taken: Ravi Shankar Prasad in RS
During the debate in Rajya Sabha today, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has said that no one is allowed to spread rumours on social media. Action will be taken to spread the rumour. The Union Minister said, 'We respect social media very much, it has empowered the common people. Social media has a big role in Digital India program. However, if social media is misused to spread fake news, action will be taken.
