Nirbhaya case convict Vinay Sharma asks Tihar jail authority to withdraw his review petition

According to sources, Nirbhaya case convict Vinay Sharma has asked Tihar jail authority to withdraw his review petition.
On December 7, Sharma had moved a plea before the President and the MHA seeking immediate withdrawal of his mercy petition, as he claimed that he never authorised the mercy plea.
Tihar authorities have started preparation for execution of the Nirbhaya gang-rape convicts, with requests made to their counterparts in Uttar Pradesh for hangmen.
