Maharashtra: Sai devotees carry out Baba's palanquin journey
A group of Sai Baba's devotees carried travelled barefoot from Mumbai to Shirdi. Sai palki yatra is an oldest tradition of Maharashtra. In this, a group of devotees from all over Maharashtra reach Shirdi. There are 25 to 100 devotees in batch, who carry a sedan on their shoulders. Ahead of a meeting convened by Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday, residents of Shirdi town, famous for its grand Saibaba Temple, called off their indefinite shutdown late on Sunday.
