J&K: Jawans come forward to rescue people stuck in snow
The states of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and the mountains of Jammu and Kashmir have been receiving intermitten snowfall, throwing daily life out of gear. In many snowed out places, Army jawans have come forward to help people.
Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district was the coldest place in the state with a low of minus 10.3 degrees Celsius, while it was minus 5.1 degrees in Kalpa, 1.8 in Dharamsala, minus 3.6 degrees in Dalhousie and 1.2 degrees in Shimla.
