The price of petrol and diesel was increased by 80 paise per litre today, bringing the total increase in rates in the last 10 days to 6.40 per litre. Petrol will now cost 101.81 per litre in Delhi, up from 101.01 per litre on Wednesday, while diesel prices have risen from 92.27 per litre to 93.07 per litre today, according to state fuel dealers' price notification. After an 84-paise hike, the price of petrol and diesel per litre in Mumbai reached 116.72 and 100.94, respectively.
