In a major deviation from its known pro-Hindutva stance since the past 30 years, the Shiv Sena announced a "secular, all-inclusive" Common Minimum Programme as it prepares to form the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in alliance with the Nationalist Congress Party and the Congress on Thursday.
The CMP was announced at a joint press conference by Shiv Sena' Eknath Shinde, NCP's Jayant Patil, NCP national spokesperson Nawab Malik and Congress' Balasaheb Thorat.
