Why did Navjot Singh Sidhu attack own govt?

Navjot Singh Sidhu is known for being outspoken but once again his comments went against his own Congress government in Punjab. Sidhu held a press conference on Tuesday and during his address he talked about how the things were messy in the state presently. He said that a new policy for liquor was to be made and that the government had 'sold its soul'
