When HC asked UP govt to pull down Lucknow posters

After violent anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests, the Yogi Adityanath government had put up posters on roadsides with 53 names and addresses. These names were the accused in the violent protests who led to the destruction of property. Allahabad High Court suo-moto took up the issue and asked the government to do away with all the posters. It is being said that UP government may take up the issue to Supreme Court but for now, the posters have become a reason of embarrassment
