'We have ensured proper action …' Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner On Investigation In Anjali Case

Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissioner Renuka Sukumar, spoke to ANI about the protest being held over ‘Anjali’ murder case and said that their(protestors) demand was basically to take legal action against the accused and were seeking help from the district administration. “Their demand was basically to take legal action against the accused and they were seeking help from the district administration. We have ensured proper action...we have formed two special teams for the investigation...we will be able to catch the accused soon,” said Renuka Sukumar. Anjali, a 20-year-old woman was stabbed to death at her residence by a man who was reportedly in love with her on May 15. She reportedly rejected the marriage proposal.
