Uttarakhand: Locals in trouble after heavy snowfall in Rudraprayag

Snowfall in the higher reaches of Uttarakhand hills has led to a sharp drop in mercury levels leaving the locals to fight the cold. Previously, the MeT department had issued an alert in Uttarakhand that there is a high possibility of hilly regions next to the border receiving heavy rain and snowfall.
