UP News: Supreme Court To Hear Teacher Recruitment Case On 9 September | ABP News
In Uttar Pradesh, candidates for the 69,000 teacher recruitment drive have been staging protests outside the residences of BJP's OBC leaders and coalition allies for the past four days. Prior to this, the candidates had also demonstrated outside the homes of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Union Minister Anupriya Patel, Yogi government's Minister Ashish Patel, and UP BJP Chief Bhupendra Chaudhary. The protests stem from ongoing issues with the teacher recruitment process, leading to significant unrest among the candidates. On September 9, the Supreme Court is set to hear the first petition related to this matter. The case will be reviewed by a three-judge bench consisting of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala, and Justice Manoj Mishra. The petition, filed by selected candidates from the general category, seeks judicial intervention to address the grievances associated with the recruitment process. This hearing is anticipated to be a critical step in resolving the ongoing disputes and addressing the concerns of the candidates.
