UP Floods: Rising River Levels Due to Heavy Rain, Water Enters Homes | Weather Updates Today
Rain in India: Severe distress has struck many Indian states due to a transition from extreme heat to heavy rainfall. Over the past few days, heavy rain has hit various parts of the country, including Delhi, resulting in multiple fatalities. In Lonavala, Pune, five people, including a woman and four children, drowned near Bhushi Dam. Heavy rain on June 30 caused severe waterlogging in Ahmedabad and Surat, Gujarat. On June 28, heavy rain in Delhi led to waterlogging and increased the death toll to 11. The Meteorological Department predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from June 30 to July 4, 2024. Continuous rain has caused landslides, disrupting road connections in Arunachal Pradesh.
