Top 100 News: Coronavirus in India breaks a new record

The novel coronavirus has killed more than 2.5 lakh people so far. According to the latest data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 3,48,421 fresh cases of infection, 3,55,338 discharges and 4,205 deaths have been reported in the country in last 24 hours. 

With this, the total cases of Covid-19 recorded till date in the country counts to 2,33,40,938 while the death toll due to deadly diseases has been pushed to 2,54,197. There are as many as 37,04,099 active cases of Coronavirus in the country however 1,93,82,642 patients have recovered and been discharged.
