T20 WC 2024: Cake Shaped Like World Cup Trophy, See ITC Maurya's Preparations To Welcome Team India

The T20 World Cup 2024 victors arrived back in Delhi early on Thursday morning, and the ITC Maurya Hotel in Chanakyapuri wasted no time in giving them a hearty welcome. In the midst of the festivities, the Rohit Sharma-led team was met with a specially made cake that represented their victorious comeback as the Men in Blue won an ICC World Cup for the first time in thirteen years. The cake was decked out in the vivid colors of the Team India jersey, and on top of it all was a meticulously crafted chocolate replica of the coveted T20 World Cup trophy. After landing in Delhi on July 4, Team India made their way to the ITC Maurya hotel. There, the hotel prepared a unique cake in the colors of the Indian shirt, which was topped with a chocolate copy of the T20 trophy.
