Surat: Migrant workers torch vehicles, demand salaries
Migrant workers in Gujarat's Surat came out on streets demanding their salaries and asking for permission to go their native place amid national lockdown due to the spread of Coronavirus. They torched few vehicles and vegetable carts. Police have lathi-charged the mob and arrested around over 50 in this connection. The incident occurred at Surat's Laksana area.
