Srinagar-Leh highway: Snow clearing operation underway using machines

The high-altitude areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh received fresh snowfall on Saturday due to which the Srinagar-Leh highway had to be closed while the low-lying areas received rain. The snow is being cleared using machines. 

Earlier, "Due to snowfall, the precautionary road has been closed for traffic," the official said.
