Solar Eclipse 2020 & Zero Shadow Day | Ground report from Ujjain

The solar eclipse on June 21 is an eventful astronomical occurrence. Apart from the solar eclipse, the day also happens to be a June solstice which is the longest day of the year in terms of daylight.

Another eventful time for the day will be when there is a zero shadow period. In the afternoon, for a brief period, the sun will be just above the Tropic of Cancer - leading to the Zero shadow impact.
