Solar Eclipse 2020: Doors of all temples in Varanasi closed
The first Solar Eclipse of the year 2020 is being observed today. Popular religious beliefs about eclipses are that they are inauspicious hence all places of worship are closed and no auspicious activities are carried out.
The doors of Srikashi Vishwanath Temple will remain closed during the eclipse. All the temples including Baba Vishwanath, Maa Annapurna and Sankatmochan temples will remain closed during the period on Sunday.
