SC terms new rules on OTT as 'toothless', said 'No provisions for punishment'
The new rules of the government made to control the content of OTT platforms have been described by the Supreme Court as inadequate. The court said today that these are mere guidelines. Provisions such as imposing fines or prosecution for violating them have not been made. The government should enact a law on this issue.
