SC stops Jagannath Yatra this year, decision sparks protests

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and social distancing norms in place, the Supreme Court has ordered that Jagannath Yatra should not take place this year. The court said that Lord Jagannath wouldn't forgive them if they allowed the yatra this year. The decision was welcomed by Odisha cabinet who said they would abide by it. However, it has sparked protests among some local outfits. Watch this report.
