Punjab: Police personnel wear Harjeet Singh's name on chest to express solidarity

To express solidarity towards Punjab SI Harjeet Singh whose hand was chopped off by Nihangs in Patiala over a clash, police personnel are wearing his name plate on chest. Haryana Police is also expressing solidarity via bandage. His hand was successfully reimplanted in an eight-hour surgery by doctors at the PGI Hospital in Chandigarh. Harjeet Singh is still undergoing treatment in the PGI.
