Punjab: 11 Nihang arrested for deadly attack on cop
In a massive crackdown by Punjab police, 11 members of the Nihang community have been arrested for attacking a Punjab Police ASI. The ASI was attacked by some of the members of the community when he tried to stop them from organizing a mass gathering against the norms of lockdown. In the attack, the ASI officer's hand was chopped off. Police have also seized Rs 39 lakh in cash and unlicensed weapons.
