Political Storm: Priyank Kharge’s Sharp Attack on RSS

Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge has triggered a major political controversy with his latest remarks against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Speaking at a book launch event, Kharge compared the RSS to a “devil,” calling it a “devil organization.” He further stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is merely its “shadow.” Kharge remarked that while they are currently fighting the “shadow,” the country would improve if they directly confront the “devil.” In addition to the strong analogy, he also raised questions about the RSS’s funding, alleging the existence of a large money laundering network linked to it. This is not the first time Kharge has made sharp comments targeting the RSS, but the intensity of his latest statement has escalated the political temperature. A strong reaction from the BJP is expected, potentially intensifying the ongoing Congress–BJP political battle in Karnataka and beyond.
