Patiala: 7 Nihangs arrested for attacking cops amid lockdown

The Patiala police have arrested seven Nihangs for attacking police amid lockdown on Sunday. The Nihangs used weapons in the fight with cops and chopped off ASI's hand. 
"They were asked to show the curfew pass. They got angered and in retaliation, they attacked police personnel and government employees deployed there with sharp-edged weapons," a police official said.
