Pakistan banking on maulana and religion to fight Coronavirus?

A telethon was organised in Pakistan to invite donations for the country's fight against Coronavirus Covid-19. Many celebrities, TV anchors, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and Maulana Tariq Jameel were present on the show. During the event, Maulana Jameel burst into tears and started praying to God and asked for his assistance in the fight against Coronavirus. Pakistan Prime Minister also joined him. This begs the question, is Pakistan banking on the help of God to fight Coronavirus?
