UPSC Coach Avadh Ojha Joins AAP Ahead Of Delhi Elections
The famed educator joined the Aam Aadmi Party ahead of Delhi elections 2025.
Renowned educator Avadh Ojha joined the Aam Aadmi Party on Monday in the presence of party chief Arvind Kejriwal. The development comes ahead of the assembly polls in the national capital.
Ojha thanked Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia "for giving me the opportunity to work for education by joining politics."

"Education is such a medium which is the soul of the family, society and nation. Today, at the beginning of my political innings, I want to share this with you all if I had to choose between politics and education, I would definitely choose education. By joining politics, the development of education is my best objective," he said.
Elections to the 70-member Delhi Legislative Assembly are scheduled to take place in February next year though the Election Commission of India is yet to announce the dates.
Who Is Avadh Ojha?
Avadh Pratap Ojha, who aspired to become an IAS officer, is a famous educator who teaches history to the students appearing for the Union Public Services Examination.
He aimed to become an IAS officer since childhood for which his father sold their land to fund his son's education in Delhi. Ojha prepared for the prestigious examination and cleared the prelims but could not get through the mains examination.
Ojha, 40 was born on July 3, 1984 and hails from Uttar Pradesh's Gonda, as per a report by News 18. His father, Shrimata Prasad Ojha worked as a postmaster in Gonda.
Ojha pursued his early education in Gonda and later completed his graduation from Fatima Inter College, Gonda.
