Pahalgam Attack: Rauf Asghar Also Named in Mastermind List, Munir Used Musa to Orchestrate Plot

The Pahalgam terror attack investigation has revealed deeper layers of conspiracy involving top Pakistani terror operatives. Alongside Pakistani Army chief Asim Munir and commando-turned-terrorist Hashim Musa, another key name has emerged — Jaish-e-Mohammed leader Rauf Asghar. Intelligence sources confirm that Munir played a central role by first inducting Musa into Lashkar-e-Taiba and then using him to build an active terror network inside India. Through this network, the brutal attack in Pahalgam was planned and executed. Rauf Asghar, the brother of Jaish chief Masood Azhar, is believed to have supported the planning phase, linking Jaish’s logistical capabilities with Lashkar's local modules. This unholy nexus of Pakistan Army, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Lashkar-e-Taiba exposes a state-sponsored blueprint of terrorism aimed at destabilizing India. Indian security agencies are now expanding the mastermind list as more links to Pakistan’s terror infrastructure come to light. The growing evidence strengthens India’s case against Pakistan at the global stage and justifies stronger countermeasures.
