Northern Railway refutes Rahul Gandhi’s claims on Loco Pilots’ working conditions | ABP News

A day after Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi attacked the central government post-meeting railway Loco Pilots at New Delhi Railway Station via his social media, Northern Railway today conducted a media interaction on July 08. During the interaction, the loco pilot and CPRO, Northern Railway, Deepak Kumar emphasized that loco pilots get enough rest discarding Rahul Gandhi’s claim that Loco pilots complained about ‘long working hours’ and ‘inadequate facilities’ during duty. Speaking to ANI, Loco Pilot Ashok Kumar Arora said, “I have been doing this for the last 35 years. Service is good here. We get good food here. There is no problem here. I have gotten approximately 10 hours of rest. There is no problem with driving.” CPRO, Northern Railway, Deepak Kumar said, “The facilities here are really good.
