Non-BJP Ruled States Boycott NITI Aayog Meeting | ABP News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the 9th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog on Saturday. The Governing Council includes chief ministers of all states, lieutenant governors of union territories, and several union ministers. PM Modi is the chairman of NITI Aayog.

According to a report by news agency PTI, the Chief Ministers of several opposition-ruled states have announced a boycott of the meeting, alleging discrimination in the budget. The boycotting Chief Ministers include Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, as well as the Aam Aadmi Party-led governments of Punjab and Delhi. Additionally, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, and Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao have also decided not to attend the meeting.
