Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's statue to be installed at India Gate
Amid the uproar over the Amar Jawan Jyoti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that a statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose will be constructed at India Gate to commemorate his contribution to the freedom movement ahead of his 125th birthday. According to the prime minister, a hologram of Netaji will be projected at the statue's location until the installation is done. The statue will be placed beneath the great canopy, which houses the Amar Jawan Jyoti, which flashes in honour of India's martyrs.
